The Flat Where All of This Started
Kink-Y began in a Friedrichshain flat in the spring of 2023: a crowd small enough to fit in one living room, and an idea about how an evening could go if nobody had to pretend. Drinks & Bubbles is that evening, and it is still the one people ask about first.
It earned its reputation quickly, as a party for experienced people and one that could get genuinely wild. What is harder to put into words is how it looks. Walking into the play area on a good night is like walking into a frame you would happily hang on a wall — decadent, unhurried, and completely at ease with itself.
The part nobody planned is the part that lasted. Across every edition since, this flat has been safer ground for a lot of like-minded people: deep connections, friendships that outlived the nights themselves, and intimate experiences people still talk about years later. The community that now fills our biggest nights was built in one living room.
Why It Is Called Drinks & Bubbles
Drinks needs no explanation. Bubbles has never had one, and at this point we would rather it did not get one.
One theory is the prosecco. Another is the bathtub, which gets filled with colours and bath bombs and, over the course of a night, has a habit of becoming the most sociable room in the flat.
And then there is the one people tell each other on the balcony: that Pier once 3D-printed a rotating disk to throw bubbles across the room, that it worked far better than anyone had planned for, and that the bathroom ended up so thoroughly soapy it had to be retired for the evening.
Who knows what the truth is. Maybe all three are real.
Inside the Flat
Every room in the flat has a job on the night. The social area — drinks, snacks and most of the conversations — is the one everything else opens off.
The Bar Is Open
The bar is open all night and it is in the ticket, alongside proper snacks rather than a bowl of crisps — a long night needs feeding. Nobody is counting drinks.
Music You Can Talk Over
There is enough music to relax into and to dance a little, set at a level that leaves conversation alone. You will not spend the evening shouting to be heard.
The Play Area
Mirrors and lights, arranged so the room flatters everyone in it, and a fan overhead keeping the air moving — which matters more than it sounds by the fourth hour.
The Dark Room
For when being seen is not the point. It is dark, and what happens in there needs exactly the same yes as everywhere else.
The Balcony
Somewhere to smoke, cool down and let the evening catch up with you. It is where a good number of friendships have started.
Showers, So Bring a Towel
There are showers, and you are asked to bring your own towel. The people who remember are always glad they did.
How the Night Runs
There is no programme and nothing to keep up with. The shape does not change much; everything inside it does.
21:00 — Doors
Come early. The flat is quiet, the prosecco is cold, and the first hour is when meeting everybody costs nothing at all. Arrive later and the room is already in motion without you.
22:00 — The Door Closes
The guest list stops being a list and becomes the room. Nobody gets buzzed up at two, so the people you are talking to an hour in are the ones you are still talking to at four.
The Speech
At some point everyone gathers and Pier talks through consent, the guidelines and how the night works. It is improvised every time — he goes on the faces in front of him and the energy in the room, so a piece always goes missing and a piece always gets a laugh. Newcomers stop wondering what they are allowed to do. Regulars stay to find out which version they are getting.
And Then It Runs Out of Night
There is no closing ritual and nobody counts you out. The flat empties somewhere between three and six in the morning depending on how the evening went, and leaving before that has never needed a reason.
Consent in a Flat This Size
The night can go a long way. Consent is the reason it can: it comes first here, it always has, and none of the rest works without it.
That cuts both ways, and the second half is the one newcomers underestimate. Nothing here is required. Some guests spend the whole night at the bar, on the balcony and in conversation, and that is one of the ordinary ways to spend the evening. Nobody is owed your attention, a no lands and that is the end of it, and a yes to one thing is never a yes to anything after it.
Drinks & Bubbles is adults only, and couples, playmates and singles all come. In a flat this size you are never more than a room away from one of us — if something feels off, find one of us while the night is still happening.

Why It Is Getting Rare
The plain reason is two things. It is a lot of work, and the flat is far too small for the number of people who now want in. Eighty square metres was exactly the right size for the community we had in 2023. It is nowhere near enough for the one we have now.
So we are keeping it to once or twice a year, holding the room to around forty guests, and choosing those forty ourselves. A space this size gives you nowhere to put a mismatch, and who is standing in it decides whether a night like this works.
Which makes it a party you wait for. Dates do not stay open long, and they reach the people we already know first.
How People End Up on the List
The honest answer is that we mostly invite people we have met, and we keep the room gender balanced while we do it. It is small enough that the mix has to be right before the night starts.
Which makes the way in fairly simple. Come to a Berlin munch: free, fully clothed, in a bar, and built entirely around talking. Join our Telegram community, where new dates go up first and where most of this crowd already spends its time. Either one is the easiest way for us to meet you.
A ticket usually lands between €35 and €40, roughly double for a couple, and the open bar and the food are in that — good drinks and proper snacks, which is where most of it goes. The dress code is sexy, kinky and lingerie — dress for a room where everyone is within arm's reach, and for a night you will still be in at four.

- Drinks & Bubbles is the original Kink-Y party and our longest-running one: a sex-positive play party held in a private Friedrichshain apartment since 2023. Inside there is a social area with drinks and snacks, a play area with mirrors and lights, a dark room, a balcony and showers. What time does Drinks & Bubbles start and finish?
- Doors open at 21:00 and the door closes at 22:00, so nobody new comes in after that — arriving in the first hour matters more here than at a club night. The flat empties somewhere between three and six in the morning, and you are free to leave whenever you like. Each edition page carries that night's own times.
What should I wear, and what should I bring?
- The dress code is sexy, kinky and lingerie, and effort is noticed in a room this small. Bring your own towel if you think you will use the showers, along with anything you want to play with.
Do I have to play, or can I just come and talk?
- You can just come and talk. Plenty of guests spend the night doing exactly that, and nobody here counts it as a night wasted. Everything is asked for out loud, and consent has been the one fixed rule since the very first edition.
What does a place cost, and how do I book one?
